The Down Syndrome Coalition for El Paso is the result of our desire as parents to create a path to a brighter future for our children. Founded in January 2015, with the tremendous support of the El Paso Community Foundation, the Down Syndrome Coalition for El Paso filled a need for community support, resources, and advocacy for families of individuals with Down syndrome and other intellectual challenges.
In addition to creating opportunities to celebrate our children, the DSCEP opened a preschool program for children with Down syndrome, implemented an annual educational symposium for parents, and launched a book club for teens and adults with Down syndrome.
The goal of the DSCEP is to partner with more organizations, more parents, and the greater El Paso community, to create a better world for all individuals with special needs. Thank you for your support!
The Down Syndrome Coalition for El Paso is building a better tomorrow through education, advocacy, and support.
