Programs

The goal of the Down Syndrome Coalition for El Paso is to create programs that help individuals with Down syndrome develop independence and assist their families in creating a community of inclusion.

Book Club
Book Club

Teens and adults with Down syndrome are invited to join the DSCEP’s weekly book club, an affiliate of the Next Chapter Book Club non-profit. All are invited to participate, regardless of reading level. Trained facilitators guide the club as members read and discuss age-appropriate material. Interested in starting a club in your neighborhood? We’re looking for volunteers to start clubs throughout El Paso. The hour-long sessions can be set up to fit the schedule of the volunteers and members.
